Fox Mandal encourages law students whether Indian or from another country to spend some time in law firms. Fox Mandal is the only law firm in India to have a formal tie up with the Paris Bar Association to give opportunity to French law graduates to spend 3 to 6 months in the firm. The Paris Bar Association recognises the period spend by such French Law Graduate in Fox Mandal and gives credit to their requirement of spending one year under a law firm or lawyer in France before been given the certificate of practise. Fox Mandal is also speaking to other Bar Associations and Universities around the world to have similar arrangements.

Foreign law students wishing to spend 1 or 2 month during summer are also welcome to apply. However, such students are not given any benefits given to other foreign law graduates spending 3 months and above.

With the advent of economic liberalisation in India big and small foreign companies are investing in India. Fox Mandal has been involved in advising many such companies. Fox Mandal has observed that the foreign counsels, involved in the projects are unable to understand the legal system and the law of India as they are sometimes very different from their own country. However, since these foreign companies investing in India obviously have long term plans it is always useful to have someone in the company who understands the Indian system better. Keeping this in mind, Fox Mandal offer young in-house counsels of Companies having large or substantial presence in India for secondment in the firm for a period between 3 to 6 months.
